We now meet
SUNDAYS
at 4:30PM
Ablaze High School Catholic Club from Good Shepherd Catholic Parish that centers around Weekly meetings that offer parish teens an opportunity to have fun and build friendships, ask tough questions, serve the community and grow our relationship with God.
We will rotate between a fun social meeting one week and a spiritual meeting the next.
Our favorite part is that Ablaze is designed by high school students for high school students (with the assistance of our youth minister and volunteers of course!)

When does Ablaze meet?
We meet Sundays at 4:30 p.m. We will gather at the Good Shepherd Parish Hall at 506 N. Garden Street, Visalia. A full schedule is available at www.ablazeclub.com .

Who is Ablaze for?
Our Sunday Night Ablaze Club is for all high school students. If you are a Redwood High School or El Diamante High School student you’re invited you to join our Campus Clubs as well. Other opportunities for high school students at Good Shepherd Catholic Parish include A Family of Faith Program or Confirmation Program.

Is Ablaze a continuation of Confirmation Program?
We like to think of Ablaze as the next step in your spiritual growth. We aren’t a sacramental class like Confirmation, but we are here to meet you and walk alongside you as you take the next steps in your life's journey. Ablaze is about living your life and embracing your faith to the center of it all.

Is Ablaze mandatory?
Nope! Ablaze is an opportunity for you to have fun and grow. While we require registration (for safety), there is nothing else mandatory about this group.
What if I miss an Ablaze night or event?
We’ll miss you! But no big deal, we know you’ve got school, homework, sports practice, dance rehearsal, chores, family stuff ... we get it! Ablaze is set up for you to join us when you can. If you miss a few weeks here and there, no big deal, you will be able to jump right back in…and we’ll all be really happy to see you back!
Can I bring my friends to Ablaze?
We are stoked that you love Ablaze so much you want to invite your high school friends! They are welcome to join us, please just be sure they register for free at www.ablazeclub.com ahead of time. Can’t wait to meet them!
Will there be supervision?
Yes, our Youth Minister and other adult volunteers will be around to maintain a safe environment and provide the club members with the supplies and information they need for each session. All staff and volunteers are safe environment trained through the Diocese, are active members in the parish, and are in good standing with the Catholic Church.
What about volunteers?
If someone in your family is interested in volunteering, please reach out by email or by calling the parish office at 559-734-9522.
